The Dog Moms of OCNY First Dog Mom Crawl Recap

We've had our head in the clouds reminiscing about how great this past weekend's first ever Dog Mom Crawl at the Middletown Emporium Square went. The day was filled with cute pups, amazing people, raffles, cute pups, discounts, great food and products, and did we mention cute pups?!

To start the Dog Mom Crawl, our crawlers were given a point card to fill out. They received one point for walking through the door, 3 points for every post on social media that included one of our vendors and 5 points for every purchase they made from our vendors. Once their card was completed and the crawler made their way around the Emporium, they would return their card to us to be entered to win our Grand Prize from the Dog Moms of OCNY.

Our day started off with featuring our brand new "Dog Mom Mobile". While dogs are allowed in the Emporium Square, prior to the event they must be either carried or in a stroller and cannot just be leashed and walking around. With that being said, we came up with the pawfect solution to this problem... the Dog Mom Mobile! Our dog Mom Mobile holds pups up to 150 lbs. and is the best way to bring your fur baby to pay a visit to the Dog Moms of OCNY Boutique if they are not small enough to be carried!

One of the many things that made our Dog Mom Crawl so special was all of the amazing and generous vendors who participated in our event. Our vendors included JB's Cafe, Peace + Power, Ice Capps, Black Dirt CBD, Ott'Rageous Cookie, Ruff Inspirations, Spice Beast, Honey Buz, Perth Pewter, Tracin Arts, VASQ Boutique, Gold Star Chimney Cakes, Sweets + Treats Candy Shoppe, Lioness Luv, Schrader Creations, Zeroism, Gabrelitos Boutique & Fashionn Fab. All of our vendors had different promotions and discounted items available for our crawlers! Our personal discount of the day was buy one get one 20% off!

Aside from the many vendors who participated in the day, the Dog Moms of OCNY Boutique also hosted a raffle, which included baskets and gift cards from different local vendors. Some of these baskets included a gift card to Revive Your Hair Spa & Juice, Lashing Out Studio, and Scentsy Samples from Pam Forneris. Our baskets were from Lilly Bear Chicken Treats, Bleu's K9 Rescue, Wrap it UP!, Hudson Valley Pawckages and The Orchard Collection. A Dog Mom Smart Utility "Thirty One" Bag was also donated by Meghan Gilson. Raffle tickets were available for purchase at the Dog Moms of OCNY Boutique.

During our event, we were also able to feature a few new product items such as our new Valentine's Day bandanas, bully sticks, mini antlers' and more! We also were fully stocked on our new releases from the week prior including our "My Dog is my Valentine" tee and our "True Love Has Paws" wine glasses.

One major hit of the day was the Valentine's Day dog cookies from our shop local section of the boutique. The cookies were made by Baked for Barks in the Hudson Valley. These sweet treats were in the shapes of hearts with cute sayings, bones, and even little donuts with valentines day decorations! We still have a few left if you're interested in grabbing one for your furry valentines! Be sure to visit the store next weekend to grab some while they are still fresh!

Overall, we were blown away by the incredible support we received throughout our Dog Mom Crawl and wanted to send a special thank you to all of those who attended, all of those who donated and all of those who were vendors for our event! We can't wait to have more events like this that are COVID friendly and dog friendly! As always, be sure to follow us on all social media (@dogmomsofocny) and swing by the Dog Moms of OCNY Boutique and say hello, we are always excited to meet our followers!
